James Howard has joined Fountain Solicitors in 2013. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2001 and was previously a partner at Blakemores Solicitors. He is accredited as a Level 2 Senior Caseworker with Supervisor Status, specialising in Asylum and Human Rights Law.

James has extensive experience representing clients before the First Tier Tribunal, Upper Tier Tribunal, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Passionate about challenging the law to ensure successful outcomes for his clients, James has gained a strong reputation in his field. In recognition of his work, he has been ranked as a leading and notable immigration practitioner in the Chambers & Partners for many years, and has been recognised nationally as ‘Lawyer of the Week’ both in ‘The Times’ and in the ‘Law Gazette’. He has also been shortlisted for ‘Legal Aid Immigration Lawyer of the Year’.
