Keerum Akhtar joined Fountain Solicitors in 2009. She qualified as a solicitor in December 2012 and is a Level 2 Accredited Caseworker in Immigration and Asylum Law with the Law Society, specialising in all aspects of Immigration, Nationality, Asylum and Family Law. She is also the office manager at our Walsall Branch.

Keerum has experience representing clients at the highest level, in the High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and European Court of Human Rights. She therefore has experience of dealing with complex matters.

She has experience in private immigration, dealing with business migration, family life applications, spouse visas and settlement applications. She also as human trafficking, domestic violence and asylum work. She has advocacy experience and is established in her field.

Keerum is fluent in Mirpuri, English.
