On 9th March 2017, Fountain Solicitors won the award for Law Firm of the Year in Birmingham Law Society’s Legal Awards 2017. This was in the category of sole practitioners up to four partners. It was the first occasion that the firm had entered for an award.
Announcing the award, the Guest Speaker, John Sergeant, said that the award was given to Fountain Solicitors for its human rights work.

Keerum Akhtar, Solicitor and Office Manager at Fountain Solicitors said “We allocate extensive time during the week to outreach work, assisting victims of domestic abuse and other vulnerable people. All members of the firm really do work to their limits and their perseverance has been awarded.”
