On 9th March 2017, Fountain Solicitors won the award for Law Firm of the Year in Birmingham Law Society’s Legal Awards 2017. This was in the category of sole practitioners up to four partners. It was the first occasion that the firm had entered for an award.
Announcing the award, the Guest Speaker, John Sergeant, said that the award was given to Fountain Solicitors for its human rights work.

The Legal Awards 2017 were open to firms and individuals, across all levels of the legal spectrum, practicing in the West Midlands, from sole practitioners to trainee solicitors, barristers to paralegals and were given in 12 categories.
