Mr Mohammed Ziaul Islam MBE from 1975 has worked as a qualified accountant and later an OISC-regulated immigration advisor, until his successful completion of the LPC in September 2002. He has almost 40 years of exclusive experience in immigration and is also a Councillor and former Ladywood District Chair for Birmingham City Council.

He has been a staple of the community in Birmingham for more than three decades while his public services and social activities culminated in him being awarded Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in November 2000 by Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II. Ziaul has a wealth of experience in Immigration, Nationality and Asylum Law which has helped him to gain positive results for his clients, sometimes against all odds, whether it be in the face of imminent removal or in immigration detention. He has considerable experience of representing clients before the First-Tier Tribunal and the Upper Tier Tribunal.

Ziaul is fluent in Bengali, Mirpuri, Urdu, Punjabi and English.
