Affidavits and Wills

Fountain Solicitors acts as Commissioners for Oaths and we can act as a required legal witness for the swearing of an Oath. Oaths and Affidavits are legal documents that are required for court proceedings and other civil procedures. An exhibit is a document or item referred to in the Oath, Affidavit or Statutory Declaration.

A Will is a legal declaration by which a person names one or more persons to manage his/her estate and provides for the transfer of his/her property at death. Without a valid Will, the State will direct who inherits the estate, meaning your relatives, friend, favourite charities may receive nothing.

It is possible to write a Will without a solicitor’s help. However, this would not be advisable as there are various legal formalities which must be followed in order to ensure that your Will is valid. Fountain Solicitors is able to provide expert advice in Will-making and are able to prepare Wills.

If you would like us to prepare a Will on your behalf, please do not hesitate to contact us. Arrange for the drafting of an Oath, Affidavits and Wills or Statutory Declaration at our office.
